Sayın
Cənablar,
MÜRACİƏT:
RZA ABBASI BƏY UĞRUNDA ŞİKAYƏTİMİZƏ
GÖRƏ İKİNCİ SON GƏLİŞMƏ
Güney
Azərbaycanın insan haqları uğrunda çalışan, Riza
Abbasi bəyin mühakiməsindən bir ayın ötməsinə
baxmayaraq İranın dəxli olan yetgililəri onu
sərbəstliyindən yoxsun etməyə davam edir, insan haqlarını
tapdayır, məhkəmə gedişatına laqeyd davranır,
və onu öz-xoşuna tutuqlamada məhkəmə
nəticəsini qərarsız və aslanaq buraxmışdır.
Abbasi bəyin həmən və şərtsiz qurtuluşu bu
dosye üçün qabaqca bir şikayət təqdim etmişik (Məktubumuz,
Say: 376/2006 Tarix: 5 Septambr 2006).
əks edir.
Sizin
məhrəmanə insan haqlarını qorumağınıza hörmət
edirik və eləcə də üzərinizdə olan mandatı
Abbasi bəyin insan haqlarını qorumaq üçün işlətməzliyə
inana bilmərik. Nə isə, hələ də bir nəticə
duyuqlaya (detection) bilməyirik. Nəticə də sizdən bir
daha xahiş edirik ki, apardığınız kampaniyanı artırasınız
və mətbuat bəyaniyyəsi verməyi də bu xüsusda
etgin bir vasitə kimi yadınıza salmaq istəyirik.
Hörmət ilə:
Böyük Rəsuloğlu

The Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights,
Please circulate this letter to the Working Group on Arbitrary
Detention (also for Fair Trials) CC
Mrs. Harrison, Amnesty International, |
Mr.

Dear
sir/madam
Re
SECOND
UPDATE ON OUR COMPLAINT IN SUPPORT OF MR RZA ABBASI
It is now over a month passed since the second trial of the Southern Azerbaijani human right activist, Mr. Rza ABBASI, but the relevant Iranian authorities continue to deprive him of his liberty; disregard his human rights; act indifferently to proper court procedures; and arbitrarily detain him with indecision and an indefinite court outcome. We have already lodged a complaint regarding this case (as per our update letter: Ref: 376/2006 on 5 September 2006) campaigning towards his immediate and unconditional release.
Our complaint stands and we would like to draw your attention to the case of Mr. Abbasi once again. We have compiled a chronology of events in reverse order to highlight the arbitrary manner with which the Iranian authorities behave. The chronology is appended to this update.
We
respect your confidential approach in
safeguarding
human rights and we cannot imagine that you have not yet applied your mandates
to the case of Mr Abbasi. However, we are not detecting its outcome yet. We
therefore request that you step up your campaign and wonder whether issuing a
press release would advance this case.
Yours
faithfully,
Boyuk
Resuloglu
Chairperson of the Committee for the Defence of the Rights of World
Azerbaijanis
