Rza Abbasi bəy haqqında qabaqkı məktublarımızda adını çəkmişik: Say:  365/2006 Tarix:  19 Avqust 2006 və Say: 361/2006  Tarix: 12 Avqust 2006. O ASMEK-in qurucularındandır and siz bu qurumun etibarı ilə tanışsınız ki, Güney Azərbaycanda insan haqları uğrunda bir bürc kimidir.

 

Abbasi bəy 26 İyul 2006-da Zəncanda yaxalandı və o gündən bəri hələ də tutuqludur. Onun uğrunda olan Haq vebbloqunda dərc olunmuş bir raportun tərcüməsini hüzurlarınıza göndəririk ki, Abbasi bəy haqqında bir az daha bilgi verir. Keçmiş ayda Zəncan və başqa şəhərlərdə öyrənçilər toplumları Abbasi bəy uğrunda bildirgələr buraxmışlar. İndi o İran yetgililərinin özbaşınalıqlarına qarşı dirənənlər cərgəsində bir qəhrəman kimi qeydə alınır ki, sadəcə insan haqlarını və Azərbaycan mənliyini əzəli ana-yurdumuzda dirçəltmək istəyir.

 

Qabağa gələni tutuqlamaq İran-tipli hakimiyyət tərzinə ümumi əlamətdirsə, Abbasi bəy durumuna məxsus cəhətlər də bunlardır:

  1. Zorla etiraf almaq üçün Yetgililər Abbasi bəyin ailəsini sıxışdırırlar
  2. Vəkil tutmaqdan üz döndərmək üçün yetgililər olmazın qara-qorxusuna baş vurmuşlar
  3. Vəkil rəsmən vəzifəsini öz üzərinə almaq üçün məhkəməyə müraciət edəndə qazı saymazyana məhkəməyə gəlməkdən üz döndərmişdi.

Re    The CASE OF MR. RZA ABBASI

 

We have mentioned the case of Mr. Rza Abbasi in our previous letters, e.g. Ref. 365/2006 on 19 August 2006 and Ref. 361/2006 on 12 August 2006. He is a cofounder of ASMEK (The Committee for the Defence of Southern Azerbaijani Political Prisoners) and you are aware of their reputation as a bastion of human rights in Southern Azerbaijan .

 

Mr. Abbasi was arrested on 26 July in Zenjan and he is still in detention. This letter attaches the report on Mr. Abbasi produced by the Webblog Haq, and it provides you with further details. In the past month, the student societies in Zenjan and other cities have issued statements in support of Mr. Abbasi. He is now emerging as another case of perseverance against arbitrary acts of the Iranian authorities for simply promoting the Azerbaijani identity in our motherland and defending our human rights.

 

Arbitrary detention is obviously symptomatic of the Iranian way of governance but some of peculiar aspects of this case include:

1.      The so called the authorities are actively harassing Mr. Abbasi’s family members to get a forced confession

2.      They are intimidating Mr. Abbasi’s family for appointing a lawyer (this background has not been given in this letter but have been published)

3.      When the lawyer turned up in the court to take up the case, the prosecutor was reported to be on leave without a prior notice (as in Item 2 above).

According to the news received, the Intelligence office in Zenjan has finally succumbed to the resistance of Mr. Rza Abbasi. This office was blocking the transfer of his file to take its legal root but not anymore. Mr. Abbasi has been quarantined in the central prison of Zenjan since 26 July 2006 and was under severe pressure to sign penitence and to undertake an oath for not resuming his activities. In order to achieve their aims, security agents exerted undue pressures on Mr. Abbasi’s family members and frequently interrogated them. They wanted to use his parents for a forced silence and thereby they were hoping for penitence. Although diabetic problems of Mr. Abbasi’s father have worsened recently and despite severe pressures while in detention, he has expressly stated during a few of his visits with his family that, I will not obey the security agents and if they take confession by force out of me, I expose these acts of the government. The Intelligence office announced yesterday that interrogations have been finalised and file has been sent to the Revolutionary Court . 

 

At this moment the lawyer of the choice of Mr. Abbasi is the distinguished lawyer, Mr Mehemmed Eli Dadkhah but neither the Intelligence office nor the revolutionary Court are not accepting this advocacy. The prosecutor for this case is Neqilu., who told to Mr. Abbsi’s family yesterday that he is not happy with releasing the file and probably he will extend the period of detention.

 

According to the reporter of the Webblog Haq in Zenjan, Rza Abbasi was also arrested in 2004 and in both cases, he resistance has been exemplary to all Southern Azerbaijanies promoting the Azerbaijani identity. It is visible in Zenjan that the youth have distributed pamphlets in supported of Mr. Abbasi and have resorted to graffiti art to this end.

اداره اطلاعات زنجان تسلیم شد

بر اساس اخبار رسیده  اداره کل اطلاعات زنجان که از سپردن پرونده رضا عباسی به دادگاه امتناع می کرد نهایتا تسلیم مقاومت این زندانی شده و اجازه داده است پرونده وی روال قانونی خود را طی کند.رضا عباسی که از ششم تیرماه در بخش قرنطینه زندان مرکزی زنجان محبوس شده است به شدت برای نوشتن توبه نامه و تعهد عدم فعالیت تحت فشار بود.اداره اطلاعات برای نیل به مقصود خانواده او را نیز تحت فشار و بازجویی های مکرر قرار می داد و ایشان را وادار به سکوت و دعوت فرزندشان به نوشتن توبه نامه می کرد.عباسی با وجود شدت یافتن مرض قند پدر و فشارهای وارده بر خودش در قرنطینه در چند ملاقات خود با خانواده اش به صراحت گفته بود به خواسته اطلاعات گردن نمی نهم و اگر اصرار بر گرفتن امضا دارند من تمام آنچه را که در مورد عملکرد حکومت بیان کرده ام دوباره تایید و امضا می کنم.اما اکنون اداره اطلاعات و دادگاه انقلاب زنجان که حتی وکیل سرشناش عباسی ، محمد علی دادخواه را نیز به وکالت قبول نکردند دیروز اعلام کرده اند که آخرین جلسه بازپرسی او تمام شده و پرونده به دادگاه انقلاب رفته است.قاضی نقیلو مسئول رسیدگی به پرونده دیروز با اعلام این مطلب به خانواده عباسی درخواست فک قرار بازداشت عباسی را قبول نکرده و از احتمال تمدید قرار بازداشت خبر داده است.

بر اساس گزارش خبرنگار وبلاگ حق از زنجان، مقاومت رضا عباسی عضو موسس کمیته دفاع از زندانیان سیاسی آذربایجان(آسمک) که پیش از این یکبار هم در بهار سال ۱۳۸۳ دستگیر شده بوده موجب دلگرمی و تقویت روحیه فعالان هویت طلب و ملی در زنجان گشته و چندین مورد دیوار نویسی و پخش اعلامیه در حمایت از رضا عباسی در سطح شهر مشاهده شده است.
